About
I got into frontend development because it looked like the fastest way into freelancing. I stayed because I got hooked on something else entirely: watching a page grow block by block until it's standing there, complete, in front of you. There's something genuinely satisfying about building things from nothing. Still is.
I'm self-taught, and I learn one skill at a time on purpose. When something new clicks, I pause and practice it until I actually have it, not just recognize it, before moving to the next thing. This site is proof of that process: I learned JavaScript building it.
I keep a log for everything I build: decisions, mistakes, how I got from a problem to a solution. It keeps me organized while I work, and it's usually where my READMEs and write-ups come from afterward.
I'm not done learning. I don't plan to be.
